When Robert Webster was only 17 years old he was wrongfully convicted of arson and sentenced to 50 years to life in prison. Even though no one was killed in the arson, Robert’s disproportionate sentence was influenced by the tragic fact that a young police officer who was stationed outside the arson victim’s home following the arsons was murdered.
Robert has already served 34 years in prison. Gov. Hochul needs to right this wrong and bring Robert home.
